The brethren at Ruislip St Martin’s work closely with Brunel University by spreading the word about Freemasonry and supporting a number of their students through their graduate courses.
An Early link with Brunel under the UGLE Universities Scheme (2016)
A £10,000 grant to the Progeria Research Fund at Brunel University London. This cements a link with the University that began with an initial donation to the Fund of £5,000 last May, and means the Lodge has secured finance for the entire project. Ruislip St Martin’s is part of a Scheme set up by Grand Lodge to foster opportunities for anyone involved in university life to enjoy the fellowship of Freemasonry.
Lodge Helps Kickstart Safari Seat
A £500 donation from Ruislip St Martins helped Jana Deeble, a Ugandan student from Brunel University, to produce a revolutionary wheelchair capable of covering rough terrain in remote parts of the African countryside and in other parts of the Third World.

Boost for Church Security (2017)
Cheques amounting to some £1796 from the Lodge and the Middlesex Masonic Charitable Trust were paid St Martin’s Church, Ruislip, to cover the cost of upgrading the surveillance cameras and control equipment installed to keep the church and its congregation secure.
Help for BWI Primary School (2012)
The Lodge, together with Middlesex Province Charitable Trust, gave £8200 to Bishop Winnington-Ingram School to help fund a Noah’s Ark Room where specially trained staff assist special needs pupils.
AND THE LODGE SUPPORTS INDIVIDUAL ENDEAVOUR
Janet Grossman, wife of our then Master Elect Nick Grossman, was sponsored by the Lodge to the tune of £250 when she competed in the Virgin London Marathon on 13 April 2014.
Running as part of a five strong team supporting Nightingale Hammerson, a Jewish charity operating care homes in Clapham and Hampstead, Janet raised over £2000.
